1. Who we are
Nexus Point Truck © is a truck GPS navigation app for Android, made by Johnny Haynes and sold by Johnny Haynes Consultation (“the developer”). This policy explains in plain language what the app does with your information, and what the website and purchase process handle when you buy it.
2. The short version
- The app has no account and no sign-in. It never asks for your name or phone number, and it has no ads and no analytics.
- To show maps, routes, search results and traffic, the app sends requests to mapping and routing services, including your current location, route and destinations. These are used only to answer the request. The developer does not run a server that collects your location, and this edition has no dispatch or fleet location sharing.
- Music: if you allow notification access, the app reads what is playing in Spotify or YouTube Music so it can show and control it. That information stays on your device.
3. What the app stores on your device
Settings and data. Your truck profile, saved places, settings (such as music player size and volume booster level) and downloaded offline map areas are stored in the app's private storage on your device.
The app does not access your files, photos, camera, microphone, location, contacts or browsing data.
4. Purchases and the website
If you buy Nexus Point Truck © at jhconsultnow.com/nexus-point, payment is handled by Stripe. The developer does not see or store your card number, and Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment. To deliver your downloads, the download service checks your Stripe checkout session and records when your download links were first issued, so they expire 24 hours later. The developer may receive the name and email on your Stripe receipt and the purchase details, and uses them only to deliver your download, answer support requests and handle refunds. This information is never sold.
The website and download service run on Cloudflare, and the download files are served from the developer's file storage. These providers may process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and files.
5. Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code and does not track you across apps or websites. To work, it sends map, routing, search and traffic requests to mapping providers (such as Mapbox, TomTom and OpenRouteService), which receive the locations in those requests under their own privacy policies. The only outside services involved in a purchase are Stripe for payment and the hosting used to deliver the website and files. The developer does not sell or share your data.
6. Deleting your data
- To remove the app's data, uninstall Nexus Point Truck © or use Android Settings → Apps → Nexus Point Truck © → Storage → Clear storage.
- To have your purchase email deleted from support records, email the developer. Stripe may keep payment records as required by law.
7. Children's privacy
Nexus Point Truck © is a navigation app for drivers and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent the developer personal information, email the developer and it will be deleted.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app's behavior changes, for example if a feature that sends new kinds of data is added, this policy and the date at the top will be updated before the change ships.
