NEXUS SCANNER · LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 3, 2026

1. What Nexus Scanner is

Nexus Scanner is an Android document scanner. It lets you scan documents with your phone camera, crop and clean them automatically, recognize text (OCR), add signatures, and save the results as PDFs or images. It works offline: it has no account system, shows no ads, and does not request internet permission. Documents stay on your device. The only permission it asks for is the camera. See the Privacy Policy for details.

The app is a one-time purchase of $16.99 USD with no subscription. It is delivered as an Android APK file (arm64 devices). A Google Play version is planned.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Nexus Scanner to scan, store and share your own documents and documents you have the right to copy. You agree to use it lawfully and in line with this policy. The license is personal and non-exclusive, for use on devices you own or control. It is not a sale of the software's copyright, which stays with the seller.

3. Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

4. Payment terms

5. Refunds

Because the product is a digital download, refunds are limited. Our terms:

6. User responsibilities

You are responsible for: keeping your device and your downloaded APK secure; backing up your scans (the app stores them only on your device, so a lost, reset or damaged phone means lost scans); allowing installs from your browser or file manager when installing an APK; checking that your device is a compatible Android phone; and keeping your receipt and download link private.

7. Updates and availability

The seller may release updates and may change or discontinue features. New versions may be released on the product page or on Google Play when available. No guarantee is made that the app will work on every device or Android version.

8. Intellectual property

Nexus Scanner, its name, logo and artwork are the property of the seller. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. OCR and automatic cropping can make mistakes, so check important documents yourself. Scans are not legal or professional advice, and a scanned copy may not be accepted as an original by every institution.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data or lost scans, or loss of profits. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.

10. Privacy

Nexus Scanner works offline and does not collect your documents. The website and purchase process may process limited information, such as the email on your Square receipt, only to complete your purchase and give support. See the Privacy Policy linked above.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
